DAY 1: 21-day meditation course.

Oprah and Deepak Shedding the weight: mind, body and spirit, is a 21 day meditation course on When selecting my O course, I read through each course and how that particular course would help me overcome or challenge something in my life. When I came across the meditation course I instantly knew it was the course for me. I enjoy yoga which is a form of mediation to relax your body and good way to exercise. I am also very spiritual so using my time of meditation could also go into the time I use during the day to say my prayers and grow my spiritual connection with God. I also chose this course because a few years ago I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder. Anxiety disorder

is a mental health disorder characterized by feelings of worry, anxiety or fear strong enough to interfere with one’s day. When I began suffering from anxiety people often would just tell me to do breathing exercises, which would often help but I believe using the methods of meditation may be a better solution.
Meditation is thinking deeply for a period of time, in silence or with aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation. Meditation is practiced around the world by people of every background. This 21-day course is led by Deepak Chopra who is an author and public speaker. He is an advocate for alternative medicine he combines his principles of Ayurveda (Hindu traditional medicine) and main strain medicine and incorporates practices of mind-body and spirit approach.
During this 21 day course, I am going to challenge myself to wake up earlier, eat healthier and begin my mornings with meditation for Dr. Deepak and Oprah. I look forward to you all reading about my journey throughout this course.
